Hello Families,
This weekend is the first time bring home Daily 5 bags to read together at home. I want to start off by saying THANK YOU! Thank you for taking the time to read these books with your child.
Please take good care of these books since majority of them was either purchased by the program or with my own money.
Send the book bags and the three books inside back on Monday morning because we will be reading them during Daily 5 time.
I had a few questions I would just like to respond to…
Yes, I know some of the books are in different languages such as Russian, Arabic, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I don’t expect you to be able to read each book perfectly because there are many different ways to read a story.
- Read the pictures
- Read the words
- Let them read the story
- Do a letter hunt through the book
