I am still going to be sending you the activities the night before in order to help you prepare materials and contact me if you need alternative suggestions. I am so happy to help! These are also great activity ideas for all of your learners at home, not just your preschooler.
Please make sure you are sending me pictures of your child completing the highlighted activity (consider this your “attendance” for the day)
Reminder of Suggested Schedule
While our children are at home, the most important thing we can do is to keep them in a routine. This helps comfort the child as well as provides some peace for you <3

8 am – Good Morning!
Good Morning Parents and Students, Mrs. Abdellah and I miss you all so much. Remember our letter of the week last week? Cc!
This week our letter is Ww, what things start with the letter W?
Can you make the letter W in the air? Big Line down, Big Line up, Big Line down, Big Line up.
9 am – Exercise
10 am – Academic Activity
The academic activity for today is to:
-have your child write the alphabet dry erase board, chalk board, or paper with crayons! (if they are able to!)
-if not, allow your child to write the letters they can and help them with the rest. (Capital Letters first!)
Play Name that Letter! (child can erase, trace, or point to the letter)
- Can you find the letter W?
- How about the letter X?
- Continue until child identifies all the letters…
If letter identification is too easy for your child, call the letters by sound and have them match. “What letter sounds like this ___? “
11 am – Creative Time
12 pm – Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having strawberries and turkey sandwich.
12:30 pm – Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.
1 pm – Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
2:30 pm – Academic Time
Daily 5 – Listen to Reading
Listen to the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Can you remember three foods he ate to grow into the caterpillar?
Educational Game
Monster Alphabet Match (this will let you personalize your child’s goals, if we talked about your child working on Letter ID then pick Letter Names, if we talked about Letter Sounds then pick Sounds)
