Halloween Parade
HALLOWEEN PARADE AND PARTY
Again this year River Oaks School will have their annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 31st. It will begin promptly at 2:30. If the weather is good, students will parade outside. Our party will start shortly after lunch, as we go to music at 2:35.
Also, if your child decides to dress up, please remind them that no weapons, no masks and no makeup will be allowed (just costumes). All costumes should be brought to school in a bag.

PUMPKIN RAFFLE MONDAY OCTOBER 22,2018
PUMPKIN RAFFLE STARTS MONDAY
In the spirit of Halloween, River Oaks Staff have been busy decorating pumpkins to be raffled off. Students can purchase tickets for a chance to win a pumpkin. Tickets will cost .25 each.
Tickets can be purchased on October 22nd through October 26th. Drawing for the pumpkins will be Friday afternoon October 26th.
All proceeds will go to help pay for field trip expenses.

PTA is collecting bags of candy for the Trick to Trunk. If you would like to donate they would appreciate it.
Kroger is having a sale this Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. All bagged candy is 50% off. All you need to do is get on the Kroger app and clip the coupon that says Halloween Candy and show it at the check out.

OPinion Essay
Greetings,
We started our opinion essay and students chose chocolate and chips. Students made a list of the pros and cons of both in their notebook. So in class today the students were given a simple of chocolate and chips and needed to continue writing the pros and cons. No the students will decide which item they want to write about either they are for it or against it . It was amazing.
