Agenda for the week

Reading/writing We are listening to stories and making predictions on what will happen next in the story. We worked on the letter Ee.  We learned a poem about  Eloise the Elephant. Please continue helping your child write their first and last name at home.  We began writer’s workshop and are learning how to draw a picture and label it or write about it.

 

Math   We began learning about shapes and will continue to work on them next week.

Social  Studies  We are learning the classroom and school rules and practicing being a good citizen at school.

Science  We finished our unit on the 5 senses.  We became scientists today.  We asked questions, made a hypothesis, and did experiments with apples to test our hypothesis.

Folders

Please make sure to empty the green folders each night! It is very difficult and time consuming to locate homework or important notes when the folder is full of papers from the day before. Remember to initial the communication log and feel free to add any notes to me!
