Beginning of Year Assessments

Last week, I began assessing student reading levels. Four or five students have been scheduled for one-on-one Zoom sessions in the afternoons. I have already finished half of the class, and my plan is to have the entire class completed by the end of this week. NWEA testing will also begin this week. I will contact you regarding how we will proceed with this. Reading will be the first assessment, followed by math. This has really been a whirlwind start of the year with some trouble spots, but I think we are making progress. Hopefully, the technology will cooperate!
