HYPE Athletics is sponsoring a food drive which will run until November 15. They will be providing Thanksgiving baskets for homeless veterans, individuals and refugees. They would appreciate your donations of canned corn, boxed mashed/scalloped potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned green beans or vegetables, Jiffy cornbread cake mix or canned fruit. They will also be supplying a turkey for each basket. Boxes are set up in the hallway near the cafeteria, but donations should be sent to your child’s homeroom so they can be tallied. There is a special reward for the class that donates the most items.
