Good morning! Here are you announcements for the week!

Language Arts–we are working on letters Aa and Dd. Our sight words are: look, at. So far we have worked on the following words: I, a, see, to, the, like, can. Continue practicing these at home with your child by writing simple sentences ex. I see the dog. I can see the boy. I like the pool.

Math–we are working on lessons 13-16 this week. These lessons focus on writing numerals 0-5 as well as working on some simple equations like 3 = 1+2.

Social Studies–we will look at our first Scholastic magazine. Watch for it to come home!

Science–we will move into a unit on Forces (pushes and pulls)

Field trip permission slips are coming home today for our Oct 14th trip. Please return them with CASH only to cover your child (and yourself if you will be attending). Chaperones will need to provide their own transportation and ALL students will be riding the bus. You will need to pack a lunch for your child on this day.

Reminder that Wednesday is a Late Start day with the first bell ringing at 9:35 and that there is NO SCHOOL for Kindergarten/Y5 students only on Friday, September 27th. All other grades are in session.
