When calling in absences and leaving messages, please make sure to give the following information: (remember to speak slowly and clearly please)
the first and last names of student(s) you are calling in for,
grade and teacher,
date,
reason for absence (illness, illness with fever, personal, doctor’s appointment, vacation, etc.),
person calling and phone number to call back if we have questions.
Repeat name of student at the end.
