Hi! I hope everyone received their packet from Mr. Harvey about the Kids Heart Challenge from the American Heart Association. The students are encouraged to sign up and parents encouraged to share their donation page via social media.

This is a fun way to get your kids up and moving at home by setting activity goals (step away from the iPad!). Rewards for the kids start at only $5. Any child who raises $50 or more will get a FREE t-shirt and the class who raises the most will get an EXTRA PE TIME WITH MR. HARVEY!!!!! Currently, Ms. Beydoun’s class is in the lead so let’s get registered and get fundraising!

On a personal note, my father was diagnosed with heart disease when I was 9. Since then he has faced a long road with heart attacks, stents, surgeries, a pacemaker and currently a little battle between his heart and his kidneys.
