Hello! Only 10 more school days until winter break! I still cannot believe how quickly this year is going by! Here are your reminders for the week.

Last week there was a stranger danger incident that occurred in the neighborhood. A letter is coming home today. Please remind your child to never approach a vehicle and to seek help immediately if a stranger approaches them.

Language Arts–we are beginning a unit on informational reading and writing. Our unit will focus on snowflakes. We are officially done with capital and lowercase letters. All students should be able to identify all upper and lowercase letters. If your child is still struggling with some, please look for them in the books we bring home daily and practice writing them. Our sight word for the week is “not”.

Math–this week we are working on lessons 13-18.

Science–we are wrapping up our 5 senses unit. The next unit will be on weather.

Social Studies–we are working on Goods and Services as well as trade. A fun trade project will be coming home after break!

Late start coming up next week on the 18th.

Holiday party on Thursday the 19th in the afternoon at 2:30. Watch for a sign up from our homeroom moms! Adults are welcome to attend (no siblings please).
