Hello there! It’s going to be a really quick week for us! School for students only on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

Language Arts–we will be doing some letter and sight word review. In writing, we have been working hard on using beginning and ending sounds for words we do not know. We’ve also been working on spacing between words and using a period to end our sentences. Give your child a simple sentence like “We can see the horse.” and see how they do!

Math–Working on lessons 5 and 6 this week in module 3. We’ve been working on building a math vocabulary wall with last module’s words and these new ones (words like shorter than, taller than, longer than).

Science–working on the sense of smell

Social Studies–finishing up the needs and wants portion of this unit with an assessment tomorrow (students will be sorting pictures into the correct category of need or want).
