Tomorrow, Tuesday November 10, there will be a Reading Bag and supply pickup for Young Fives. Pickup will be at the same door as last time. I will also have their report card available for you to pick up.
Pickup will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There will be NO VIRTUAL LABS that afternoon. There will be a table outside with two boxes. Please look for the things with your child’s name on it.
We will be using some of these supplies in class on Wednesday so please be sure to swing by and pickup your supplies. 🙂
There will be NO LABS today after specials. Instead, we will do a Supply pickup.
We are celebrating Halloween tomorrow with LOTS of fun reading, writing and math activities and I have some things for the kiddos.
Supply pickup will be from 2 to 4 pm at the kinder door just as before. When you get here, message me and I will meet you at the door. If you CANNOT pick up the supplies, please let me know ASAP. I will swing by and leave the supplies on your porch. 🙂
We will follow this schedule while IN PERSON labs are postponed. We will start this virtual schedule on Thursday, October 22. Use the same ZOOM link you do for the morning Zoom.

For those that missed the quick afternoon parent meeting after writing this afternoon, I made an announcement.
Due to the rising positivity rate in the city of Dearborn, the committee made the decision to postpone IN PERSON labs for the time being. Originally, they stated that if the teacher felt comfortable, that the labs could continue. I planned on doing that. I was very comfortable holding the in person lab, as I am the one cleaning the room, the kids all entered the building with me, we stayed in our room, they all have their own supplies, and we used a separate door than all of the other grades. Plus, they NEED and WANT to be here and so do I! But late last night we got another email, this time from the union, stating they were strongly recommending that ALL in person labs stop. So all of the Kindergarten team decided to postpone all in person labs for the time being. I am so sad about this. I absolutely love being the in the classroom with the kiddos and I miss it!
As we know, things change fast!! So I am really hopeful that the numbers will drop and we will be back to in-person labs as early as next week. When they DO resume, we will follow the normal schedule.

IN PERSON learning lab schedule
I will work on a NEW virtual learning lab schedule and will post it today. We will begin the new virtual lab schedule tomorrow. If your child is unable to attend the Zoom session at the scheduled time, please let me know and I will see what I can change. 🙂
Again, I am SO SORRY about this. I really hope to see all of their smiling (behind their masks) faces soon!!
There will be no in person open house at any of the Dearborn schools due to the current pandemic.
Our staff here at Snow has proactively created a bitmoji slideshow to share with parents and students. We hope you all enjoy the show and share it with your children!
There are a few friends who are struggling with wearing and/or keeping a mask on while they are at school. I know it’s really hard, and they don’t completely understand, but please continue to work on it. In order for the kiddos to enter the building, they need to have it on. When we DO return to in-person learning, masks are going to be required.
I have some links with songs and stories about wearing masks and washing hands. If you need more, please let me know!
