Hello Young Fives Friends!

This is the week that we would normally build gingerbread houses. Covid has messed up a lot but I refuse to let it take away all the fun!

So on Friday, December 18th, we will build Gingerbread Houses! This is an optional activity but it will be so much fun that I hope all can join us!

If you are interested in joining us, here are the details:

When? Friday December 18th at 2:00

Where? On ZOOM!

What do we need? A gingerbread house kit! I recommend buying a complete kit because it is easier. I found great kits at Five Below for $5! They also have them at Target, WalMart and many other stores. If you want to join in on the fun, and do not know how to get one, please let me know ASAP.

Who? Young Fives and their families! All are invited to join! Rumor has it that Peyton will be joining us too.

EDIT: A parent has graciously donated gingerbread house kits to all of our classmates! Thank you so much to Yazmeen Mackie’s family!! I will deliver them to you on Thursday. 🙂

Tomorrow, Thursday, December 10th, there will NOT be any Zoom lessons. All of our lessons will be recorded and in the ELA and Math folder on Schoology. We will resume with Zoom on Friday.

We have art on Thursdays so be sure to visit Ms. S’s Schoology page to complete the assignment.

Due to a Y5/Kindergarten teacher PD day, there will be NO SCHOOL for the Y5 and kindergarten classes ONLY on Friday, November 20th. All other grades have school.

Snow Families,

There is a lot for our school community to celebrate and be thankful for in the month of November.  We are thankful for the partnership between our staff, students, families, and community to help every child succeed. 

We will show our November Spirit during the week of November 16th:
Monday, November 16th:  Pajama Day:  Wear your pajamas to zoom class.
Tuesday, November 17th: Hero Day: Draw a picture of your hero and tell us why she or he is your hero!
Wednesday, November 18th: Crazy Hat Day:  Wear your crazy hat to class!
Thursday, November 19th:  Snow wolf Art contest: Share your creation!
Friday, November 20th:  “I am thankful for ….” Share with us what you are thankful for!

Can’t wait to see what we all come up with!

Supply pick up today from 2:00 to 4:00! There is a table set up by the Kindergarten door. Please find the reading bag with your child’s name and the math folder with your child’s name. The report card is in the math folder.

If you are unable to pick up between those times, please let me know. Any supplies left at 4:00 will be placed in the office and can be picked up there tomorrow. However, we will be using both the reading bag and the math supplies tomorrow in class so please try to get to Snow to pick them up. 🙂
