Pumpkin Pie Art

For art this week, you had one of my favorite projects to do! Pumpkin pie slices! They look good enough to eat!

If you have not submitted a picture of your art to Ms. S, it’s not too late! Head over to your Art Schoology page and complete your project.

Look how scrumptious they look!

ES ‘eating’ her pie!
MA and his delicious looking pie!
ES made some good looking pie!

Nice job everyone!!

Good news! And some not so good news…

Good news! Due to the positivity rate decreasing in Wayne County (WOOHOO!!!) we have been approved to start in person learning labs!! I cannot begin to tell you how happy this makes me. These will officially start next week.

HOWEVER, we cannot begin until ALL assessments are done. I thought we were good but I was told that there is one more assessment that I need to administer in order to start in person Learning Labs. That’s the bad news. But, it will not take us long at all to complete this assessment. To make it easiest on the kids (and let’s be honest, you too!) it will be most beneficial to administer this assessment in person.

I have created a sign up genius so you can sign up for a time. I am finishing up our One on Ones on Monday, so we will begin assessing on Tuesday afternoon. There are 2 blocks of time (1:30 to 2:30 and 2:30 to 3:30) on three separate days (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). Please pick the day and time that works best for you.
