Greetings McU Families,
As many of you know, I run the school garden. This time of year is when our students would normally be going outside with me to start turning the soil, clearing old growth, starting plant experiments, and planting seeds. We may be apart and stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean we still can’t garden together! In today’s activity we will be creating a self-contained biome in a jar. Follow along with the video and email Mrs. Kessel some pictures of your creations! Now go get growing!
You Will Need:
-Clear container (jar/cup/pop bottle)
-sand or pebbles
-dirt (soil)
-water
-seeds (any kind-dried peas/beans work well too!)
