This week the school mascots are visiting Mrs. Kessel’s classroom! Lena and Ava are the McCollough-Unis guinea pigs. From time to time they visit different classrooms. In the STEAM Lab we often borrow them to help us explore various topics. This week and next, the fourth grade students are observing the guinea pigs to gain a better understanding of how scientists can infer details about animals based on observations, and how that correlates with the study of fossils and extinct animals.
