Halloween

Monday is Halloween.  Your child may wear or bring a costume to school. If they wear their costume, the must have regular clothes on underneath. If you want them to put their costume on in the afternoon, they must know how to put it on themselves. Please make sure the costume choice is school friendly, nothing too scary. NO CLOWN COSTUMES!  If the costume includes a mask or any sort of weapon, please keep them at home. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sink v. Float

Yesterday, we did an experiment to see if a pumpkin would sink or float.  We began by making predictions.  About half the class thought the pumpkin would sink and the other half thought the pumpkin would float.  They were all excited to see, and learn, that a pumpkin will float in water

Welcome!

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to start this blog to help keep you up to date on what we are learning in the classroom.

The past couple of weeks, I’ve been practicing and reinforcing routines and rules in the classroom to help make our learning environment a safe and fun place.  It is never easy to start in a new classroom once the school year has begun, but the students are handling the transition well.

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  I am excited to take this journey with you and your family!
