100 Day Fun!

Today we had fun celebrating our 100th day of school.  Some of the children came to school dressed as 100 year olds!  They also made crowns to wear showing what they’ve learned these past 100 days.

Tomorrow is our 100th day of school!  We would like to invite the students to dress up like they are 100 years old!

 

Also, tomorrow is a late start day.  School begins at 9:35 and there will be no breakfast.

First Week of Spelling!

This is the first week that the children will be given spelling words.  I am sending home a sheet with the words they will need to learn.  They will have a test on them this Friday.

Half Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Friday January 27th is a half day of school.  Your child will need to be picked up at 11:45am.

There will be no lunch tomorrow.  If possible, please send a healthy snack with your child.

Timelines are due tomorrow.  I can’t wait to see them all!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing break!

School resumes Monday morning at 8:35.  Please remember to send your child’s folder and book bag.

Even though it is cold outside, the children will still get recess outside until it is 20 degrees.  Please make sure they have jackets, hats, and gloves/mittens.  If your child wears boots, please send a change of shoes for while they are inside.

A healthy snack is provided to your child Monday-Thursday.  If possible, on Friday’s, please send a healthy snack for your child. Examples of a healthy snack are….

Literacy Night

This Thursday, December 8th from 5:00-6:30 is literacy night. There will be many fun Dr. Seuss crafts and activities. There will also be face painting and a special guest. A parent/guardian must be with their child during the event. Hope to see everyone there!
