Things We Always Need

Happy Second Week of School!

If you can bring any of the items below  to donate to our classroom, I would greatly appreciate it.

Happy First Week of School

This was a great 1st week for our class!  I am enjoying getting to know everyone!

We have been learning a lot of new routines like how to line up, eat lunch in the cafeteria, and play outside.

Besides routines, the children are learning the letters in their names, about patterns, and numbers.

Thank you to all the parents that have come in to meet with me this week.  This has really helped me get to know your child.

Next week will be full days of school.  If you want your child to eat breakfast in the morning, please bring them to school at 8:10, if not they are to be in the gym by 8:35.  The children will have lunch and snack at school.  Please send a healthy snack for them to eat.  They will have gym Monday afternoon, they will need to wear tennis shoes to school for this.  Dismissal will be from the classroom at 3:25.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

Kindergarten Celebration

As the school year comes to an end, we would like to invite you to come into your child’s classroom on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30pm.  The children would like to show you some of their favorite things from this school year and share some of their favorite memories.  We will be doing a pizza and juice picnic outside following at 1pm (weather permitting).

  • 12:30pm See the classroom and share stories
  • 1:00pm Pizza and juice

Bottle Water and Snack

With the temperature being in the 90’s all week, please feel free to send bottle water with your child.

Also, if you want your child to have snack at school, please send a healthy snack with them.

A few reminders for the end of the year

As the school year is coming to an end, I just wanted to remind you about a few things…

*Your child is expected to attend school everyday and also be on time.  School starts at 8:35 am.  If you plan for your child to eat breakfast at school, they are expected to be at school at 8:10.  Please try to get your child to bed by 9:00 pm so they have enough rest for the next days activities.

*Folders and book bags should be sent to school everyday.

*School rules and expectations remain the same until the last day.

*Snack is no longer provided by the school.  Please send a healthy snack with your child everyday.  If you are able to donate snack for those students who forget to bring one in, that would be greatly appreciated.

The last day of school is Friday June 16th.  It is a half day and dismissal will be at 11:45.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
