We went to the library today. We are preparing for our first card marking Book Talks. We revisited claim and evidence for the remaining time and worked in groups and shared out.

Today we still are finishing up with a few that have not completed NWEA while the rest of the students worked on their personal goal and language arts goal. All of this information was put into the new system on their ePortfolio that contains their My Learning Plan. They can access it from home, ask them to show you what it is all about.

Please make sure your student is ready to go with their language arts things that will make the year a success. Suggested items are : a 3-Ring Binder and tabs. Loose leaf paper and colored pencils and pens and pencils would be great as well!!
Air Heads Sale tomorrow and Friday
Worked on trying to finish up our NWEA testing and create both a personal goal and a language arts goal for the students to put into their My Learning Plan.
No homework this evening.
We are going to begin work on Argumentative Writing and the Components of that type of writing. We will have a formal paper that the students will be working on in the next week or so.
