Sophomore Summer Work

I know. . . I know. . . you’re still relishing your summer anticipation, perhaps wishing you were on vacation at the beach, in the mountains, or on a lake. . . no school. . . no homework. . . no more final exams.

And then, your language arts teacher drops a summer reading schedule on you!  Oh, no!  However, have no fear!  Your new Language Arts teacher and I are here!  Remember, if you have any questions, please email me.  My email address is dillonl@dearbornschools.org.  That’s the best way to contact me!  Now, onto the assignments.
1. You will read two books that are in your current lexile level and complete a thorough book review. Books that are under your level will not count, and you must do again!
2. You will read and provide analysis of 5 articles by completing a worksheet and responding to a prompt. The prompts are found below each article.
