Good morning, Happy Friday, and Happy May! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to the weekend. The sun is supposed to come out.
Today, you will take two (2) quizzes: math and poetry. I STRONGLY suggest you review this week’s math videos and lessons before taking the quiz. If you haven’t already, review the 3 slide presentations for poetry before taking the 10 QUESTION quiz. You’ll find these quizzes under today’s date, Friday, May 1, 2020. Both quizzes are due by 11:59 p.m. tonight. Good luck! Work CAREFULLY! Enjoy your weekend.

Good morning, Girls and Boys, Today is the last day of April. Can you believe that? Time is moving fast. With some of that time, I’ve been enjoying your poems. Some of them are outstanding. Keep up the good work.
Today you will complete yesterday’s assignments. You are also REQUIRED to participate with your special classes P.E. and Science Enrichment. You can find them under today’s date, Thursday, April 30, 2020.

Yesterday actually felt like spring. Did you enjoy the day? I sure enjoyed the warmth of the sun. It helped to warm up my house a bit. Today you will have 4 assignments: Reading/Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. All assignments are due tomorrow by 9:00 p.m. Do not wait until the last minute to get your work done. Choose two subjects to complete today and two for tomorrow. You’ll have PE and Science Enrichment tomorrow as well. Pace yourself.

Good morning, Boys and Girls,
Please finish up your assignments from yesterday. You are also required to participate with music and art today. Look for those assignments under today’s date, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Google Classroom. Let’s win another certificate for music! And while we’re at it, enjoy some great music and art lessons. We can do this. Enjoy your Tuesday learning.

Good morning, 4th Graders, Did you enjoy a good weekend? My weekend was filled with work. I did get out for a short walk yesterday. Today is supposed to be sunny. I sure hope so. I have great news. Our class won an award for having the most students participate in music class. That’s awesome, but sad because only 12 of you did. Thank you to all of you that participated in music and the other special classes last week. You will be graded in all of your specials. It is NOT a choice, you MUST participate. I want everyone to participate this week. Let’s win two weeks in a row! I’ll post the assignment tomorrow.
As for today, your assignments have posted. They are due by 9:00 tomorrow night. Also, there will not be any Google meetings today. I’m terrible sorry. An email was sent to all parents explaining this situation. It is also posted on the school blog.
Last, but not least, if you need a Chromebook from school, you can pick one up today between 1:30 – 3:30. Enjoy your day.

William Ford Families,

Ramadan Mubarak.  I wish all of our families observing all the best during the holy month.  Prayers for all especially during these challenging times.

A few notes for today and next week.

• Food distribution at Woodworth and Fordson will move to 12:00-2:00 during Ramadan.
• Another Chromebook distribution will occur at William Ford on Monday, April 27th from 1:30-3:00.
  • If you did not get a Chromebook during the first distribution days and/or you do not have any technology in your homes for your students at William Ford. you can come to William Ford on Monday.
  • Families with multiple children in the home who are struggling for computer time with one device may also request another Chromebook on Monday.
• There will be NO live Google Hangout meetings on Friday due to technical issues. 
  • Teachers may still post assignments today.  Check your teacher’s blog.
  • Since Storytime with Mr. Higgins is LIVE, that will also be cancelled on Friday.

It’s cold outside! Good reason to stay inside and do some fantastic school work! Your assignments have posted. Check them out. I did something a little different. I think you’ll like it.
Green Group meet me at 12:00.
Yellow Group meet me at 1:45.
Both groups make sure to review the norms we established. They are in your Classroom Group. We will review your poetry.
