Happy Wednesday, 4th Graders, It’s going to be a sunny day. Your assignments have posted. I’ll meet with the following groups today:
Green Group at 12:00 (Abrar, Ali C., Mohamed K.)
Yellow Group at 1:45 (Ali A., Baraa, Londyn, Sam, Yousef)

     As you all know, this time of year is time to prepare for the next school year.  One big event is Kindergarten Round-up!  Well, due to the current world health situation we could not do that this year, so we are doing it remotely.  Enrolling kindergarteners for school can happen in two ways; register online or fill out hard copies of the enrollment papers and return them to Student Services or William Ford Elementary.  

     If you have a child who will turn five before December 1st they are eligible for Young 5s or Kindergarten. See below the steps to register your child for Young 5s or Kindergarten at William Ford.

1. Watch this presentation for all the information you need: Click HERE!
2. Come to William Ford on Tuesday, May 12th between 12:00-2:00 to pick up a special packet with registration papers and a few summer supplies for your child! 
3. Enroll online, OR return registration paperwork to William Ford on one of the dates below;
   1. Wednesday, May 13th between 9:00-10:30
   2. Thursday, May 14th between 12:00-2:00
   3. Friday, May 15th 9:00-10:30

Good morning, Girls and Boys, a big thank you to those of you that joined yesterday’s meeting. I know it was not perfect, we’ll keep trying and learning. As for today, work on completing yesterday’s assignments. I’ll meet with the following groups today:
Red Group at 12:00
Orange Group at 12:30
Purple Group at 1:15
Today is Tuesday. That means Art and Music. You have been winners of the Music Participation Award for 3 straight weeks. Can you do it again? I KNOW you can. I took a peak at the lesson. It is even more interesting than last week. As a matter of fact, it is AWESOME! Mrs. Scannell put a lot of effort into the lesson. Remember, you are REQUIRED to participate. But more importantly, you’re learning cool things and it’s FUN!

Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a blessed and joyous Mother’s Day. I also want to thank you for the support and guidance you offer your children as they now learn at home. It makes all the difference. Your children are blessed to have you.

Enjoy this special day and know that you are loved and appreciated. Many blessings for you and your families.

Good morning and Happy Friday. Today’s assignments include Math and Missing Assignments. Parents, Please go to Google Classroom with your child to verify if your child has missing assignments. Any missing assignments NOT turned in by tonight will receive a grade of ZERO. I am required to report missing grades to Mr. Higgins and the District. Missing assignments WILL affect your child’s report card grade.

Good morning, 4th Graders, Try to enjoy some warm weather today. It’s going to get cold for a few days. For today, finish up your assignments from yesterday. Do NOT wait until the last minute. Also, participate with Science Enrichment and P.E. today. Look for them under today’s date Thursday, May 7, 2020. Thank you, again, to all who came out yesterday to get your supplies. It was wonderful to see you and your parents. If you did not get a supplies packet, please let me know. You’ll need it.

Good morning, 4th Graders, your assignments have posted and are due by tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. Boys and Girls, you MUST NOT wait until the last minute to get your work done. I am willing to help you, but during school hours. My school day begins at 8:30 as always. I can be reached until 5:00. Thank you for respecting my time. Be sure to come to school to pick up your supply packets this morning. I will be there and would love to see you. You will like them. Check the ClassDojo message I sent yesterday.

Good morning, 4th Grade Musicians, It’s Tuesday. You know what that means, Music and Art today. Let’s go for another win. Remember, you are REQUIRED to participate with your special classes. I took a peek, the lessons look interesting. Also, you’ll have until 9:00 tonight to finish up yesterday’s assignments. Happy learning.

Good morning, My 4th Graders, It was a beautiful weekend and guess what? YOU did it! You won the Music award again for the most 4th grade participation. Bravo! What do you think? Can you do it again? I bet you can. I’ll post your Music assignment tomorrow.
In the meantime, today’s assignments have posted. You have assignments in writing, math, science, and social studies. They are due tomorrow by 9:00 p.m. As always, pace yourself. You are expected to turn in your very BEST work. P.S. – Have I told you lately how much I miss you?
