Hello everyone,
Today in class we continued our discussion of Observations and Inferences.
If you were absent YESTERDAY
You will need to use your google powers to research the difference between an observation and an inference. I can give a very brief idea below:
Observation: Gathering information using your 5 senses
Inference: Making a prediction based on what you have observed.
You will need to work through THIS sheet, and glue it on page 3A of your Interactive Notebook. It is not very difficult at all.
If you were absent TODAY
On Page 3B, write a sentence for EACH inference you chose on the Boy in the Water sheet. In your sentence, explain why that inference could happen based on your observations in the picture.
When that is finished, research Qualitative and Quantitative Observations. On Page 4A, find one object around your house and write 8 qualitative observations and 4 quantitative observations!
