Assessment’s for this week

Just to remind everyone, tomorrow is your Genetics Test. To prepare for this test you may want to look over your Genetics with a Smile worksheets, reread about Gregor Mendel (it’s been a couple weeks), and also go over your Illustrated Dictionaries for vocabulary.

ON FRIDAY

You will have your Life Science Post-test. This is a cumulative test that covers the main ideas of all our Life Science Sections (about 3 months worth of information). While the purpose of this test is to mainly see what information you have retained over the entire Life Science Unit, I do not expect you to simply take the test and be fine. In order to help you prepare, I have opened up access to all of our previous Life Science tests to let you go through and review. Remember, you have seen this test before, you took it prior to starting ANY Life Science sections when it was called a pre-test (most of you didn’t score well, as expected). The Primary purpose of this test is to show growth, and as a result, your score will be curved accordingly.

Don’t panic, but also don’t wait to review. For now, focus on genetics. When you feel comfortable with your knowledge on that, then go back and review other concepts for Friday.
