Week 1 of the 2020 School Year
Hello families, if you have found your way to this blog post, there is a chance I will be your child’s science teacher for the year. This is a strange start to the school year, there is no doubt about it. In an attempt to make things at least somewhat more manageable, I wanted to provide you a rough overview for 7th Grad week 1 (understand this is all subject to change)!
Monday, August 31: Teachers will be attempting to contact and converse with the students and families who they have in their advisory classes this year.
Tuesday, Sept. 1: 1/2 day schedule will be followed. Each class meets for 22 minutes beginning at 8:25. There is a schedule floating around out there, perhaps in your email. You will be meeting through Zoom, and we are working on the easiest way to get that Zoom session link to you.
Wednesday, Sept. 2: No zoom meetings for 7th graders. During the morning, 7th graders will come to Bryant and pick up materials. Their core teachers will be there, but in order to follow proper guidelines, will not be available for conferencing.
Thursday, Sept. 3: 1/2 day schedule with zoom meetings again.
The week after, starting September 8, a different schedule starts. You have this schedule in an email.
