Week of April 20th
Hello class and welcome to week number…5 (maybe) of our online learning!
For this week, I am not going to assign you too much new work. I want to give you guys, and myself, some time to get more familiar with how things will work for the remainder of the school year. It may seem like a lot of work, but for those of you who have been doing everything I’ve asked until now, it is hardly anything.
Your MOST important job this week (many have done this already):
!!PLEASE make sure you do the correct hour!!
SECOND HOUR: nelq5np
THIRD HOUR: te6uouu
FOURTH HOUR: xtj3lb6
FIFTH HOUR: vpfq7ra
SIXTH HOUR: mufn36q
1) To enroll, please go to classroom.google.com
2) Be sure you are signed in to your school account
3) Hit the + in the top right corner
4) Type in the correct code for your hour
Now for your assignments:
Number one, Science Projects
(due May 8th, but STRONGLY recommended to do this week)
When you get into your Google Classroom, you should see a “Science Fair Projects” assignment. If you already did what you were asked to do for your project, you will just need to add the information to the Google Doc on there, submit, and you’re done!
If you have not started your project work, you will want to do so now.
You will need to have the following done:
Here is a PowerPoint to help explain each part
- The science question you are investigating
- The hypothesis stated as an if/then statement
- The Independent variable, dependent variable and control variable.
- A list of materials needed
- The procedure to complete the experiment
- Research about your topic
Assignment Number 2: IXL Section C “Engineering Practices”
(due April 25th)
As usual, your goal is 80 on each section.
Google “Hangouts”
Starting this week, I am going to be meeting with each class over a google hangout. Our priority will be any questions you have related to your work, but if we take care of business, we can just chat with each other. This will also be set up through your Google Classroom, so it is VERY important to enroll in the correct class.
Hangout Schedule
Tuesday
Second Hour: 12:00-12:19
Third Hour: 12:20-12:39
Fourth Hour: 12:40-1:00
Thursday

Sixth Hour: 12:20-12:40

These are just the scheduled times for us to meet, outside of these hours I may be available, but other teachers will get priority during those meeting times.
