Assignment for 9/18

Today in class we worked on the difference between observations and inferences.

Observations- things we can experience happening with our 5 senses. We know they are happening because we experience them. Saying ice is cold is an example of an observation using our sense of touch.

Inferences- predictions or ideas we have, that may or may not be true, based on observations. For example, if it is cloudy outside, I may make the inference that it is going to rain. It may rain, it may not rain, therefor I made an inference based on the sky being cloudy.
