Science Olympic events for Friday, February 19, 2016
Another round of events done today everyone, nice job!
Today we tried to see who was able to hold their breath the longest, our overall winner was Suzanne S. She managed to hold her breath for longer than I could have ever expected, and unless she is incredibly sneaky, she did not break the rules. Trust me, I was sitting next to her when she did it.
Some groups also managed to find time for the push up competition, and our highest recorded amount there was Hassan C. with 64 push up!
Please, remember the importance of these activities class. It isn’t about who is the best, it was about testing out our own organ systems to see how they work and what they do for us.
On that note, make sure all the questions from both Thursday and Friday are finished this weekend. Even the two questions on the back of today’s sheet. Even if you did not do push ups, you are still able to answer both of those questions using the other 2 events.
Enjoy your weekend, see you on Monday.
