Monday, October 14: We started Unit 4 today by looking into deductive reasoning and how it is used to support our claims and arguments as well as a few properties of equality.
Tuesday, October 15: We developed a couple of postulates which will help us to build our arguments for the rest of the unit and beyond.
Wednesday, October 16: Both Pniewski and Moylan were out of the classroom today, so students practiced their skills with the Angle and Segment Addition postulates from yesterday while also reviewing transformations and practicing their deductive reasoning.
Thursday, October 17: Picking up where we left off on Tuesday, we took our postulates and used them to prove certain things, creating our first set of theorems which will help us throughout the rest of our proofs in the future.
Friday, October 18: We needed to finish off a couple more problems from yesterday, but then students took some time to fill out an AgileMind Student Survey and then our AgileMind practice assignment which is due on Monday.
