Monday, September 30: Continuing our exploration of Unit 3, we spent most of the hour today practicing some reflections and then looking at the changes to find patterns. We used those patterns to write rules for three types of reflections as well as a rule for rotating 180 degrees.
Tuesday, October 1: Building off of yesterday, we practiced more reflections and then used those ideas to develop rules for describing our translations. One way to describe these was using vector notation (making a connection with our physics classes!).
Wednesday, October 2: We took time today to practice the skills from yesterday by writing rules for the translations of various real-world examples Moylan posted around the room. After turning those in, we worked on a new AgileMind assignment which is due tomorrow.
Thursday, October 3:
Friday, October 4: Pep Assembly today, so each class is just a bit shorter than usual. Make sure to plan accordingly!
