Great day at the orchard!!

Students worked in groups to measure objects in our room with the meter stick for the first time!

Beautiful weather, trees turning colors, and students learning!! We are getting the hang of the routine! Matter all around us in science, opinion writing,and our first unit test with Eureka!

Our first field trip to Blake’s apple orchard is October 17th and I’m looking forward to seeing our parent volunteers. This will be such a great experience to be had by all!😄

Parents I hope to see you at Open House tomorrow from 6:00-7:30!

Come by and meet the teacher, and go visit all the special area teachers. It is a perfect opportunity to sign up for parent teacher conferences as well, so hope to see everyone!

Parents have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend! Reading bags went home today , please read 20 minutes with your child and ask questions about the book. Showing interest will get them interested .

This week was awesome!! Students went through routines, started our new math program and wrote about bullying. We launched daily five and mastered our lunchroom routine.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year, hope to see you at the parent meeting next week!

Welcome Back! I can’t wait to share all we have done this summer. I look forward to meeting you and learning wonderful things together! This will be an exciting year!

We are done with packets and are asking that students log in to technology sites. Each student is asked to log in and do 35 minutes daily. Myon has a comprehension test at the end of each story. Kids are also asked to try our new site prodigy! Math and literacy skills help with NWEA testing!

Students are excited about Mother’s Day this Sunday!!! We tied in our plant unit with Mother’s Day and we can’t wait to plant beautiful flowers for our lovely moms!
