Welcome to my class!

Hello Families!

Welcome to my classroom blog and welcome to my classroom! As most of you know, my name is Miss. Norton and I will be the new fourth grade teacher at Oakman Elementary School. I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan – Dearborn, with my teaching certification in Elementary Education. I have been working with children since I was 13 years old and drawn to education because of my passion and love for children. I am excited and honored to have received this opportunity to educate and care for your children. My goal for my 4th grade class is to help my students reach their NWEA goals (created at the beginning of the year). Also, homework must be done daily, I expect parents to have their child’s planner read and signed. Signing the planner is beneficial to my students, it is a form of communication between you, your child, and myself. I am available for any questions or comments about your child’s education. You can reach me through ClassDojo, my blog, leave me a message with the secretary, or send me a voicemail, I will respond when I have time. I look forward to starting the new year off with each and every on of you!

Have a relaxing and safe holiday!

Thank you,

Miss. Norton
