Math: Zearn, Module 5, Lesson #12

Reading: ReadWorks article is due on Sunday, April 5th, make sure you read and answer the comprehension questions.
Study island: A new assignment for reading has been posted, “Summarize Literature.” Make sure you complete this, it is due on Sunday April 5th at 8:00pm.

Writing: Your writing prompt for today is to write about a time you gave something of yours to someone who needed it? What did you do?

Science: Study island, a new assignment was posted called, “Energy & Motion,” Make sure you complete this, it is due Sunday April 5th at 8:00 pm.

Spelling: keep on practicing those spelling words! Your spelling test is tomorrow 🙂

Remember it is very important to keep learning, growing our brains, and staying on track in 4th grade, not completing assignments or not trying to keep learning affects you and Miss. Norton does not want to see that happen. If you have any confusions, questions, or concerns I am here to help 🙂

Study island: There is a new assignment posted for reading called, “Events,” make sure you take your time and work through this. It closes and is due on Sunday April 5th at 8:00 pm. 

Writing: Your writing prompt for today is, what is the funniest April fools joke you have heard, seen, or did to someone?

Social Studies: Study island, “Michigan Economic Activities from Statehood to Present”. Make sure you work through and complete this assignment. It closes and is due on Sunday April 5th at 8:00pm. 

Spelling: Make sure you keep practicing your spelling words, your spelling test is on Friday.

Good morning 4th graders! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely, relaxing, and tremendous weekend 🙂

This is week 3 of remote learning, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, remember it is vital to keep on learning and growing our brains. These learning and enriching assignments are to help us not fall behind in fourth grade, this is also why it is important to complete ALL these assignments. Please remember to take breaks and ask questions, I am here to help.

Remember, I have posted a document for one-on-one conferencing each week, this is to help you understand any concepts you are confused about, sign up for a time that works for you and your parents, ask any questions you may have, parents this is for you as well to obtain any clarity on concepts. I also have done 3 video conference calls with everyone as a class, this is very essential in our learning, these video conference calls help us to talk, share ideas, and ask questions everyone may have.

Here are your tasks for today:

Math: Zearn, Module 5, lesson #9 (it is very important to be going on Zearn every day and completing these lessons fully. This is to help you not fall behind)

Reading: You have a new readworks article that was posted on ReadWorks called, “What Causes the Seasons?” Make sure you complete reading and the comprehension questions that go along with it (if you have confusions on the questions you can message me or video conference with me and I can help you!)
Study island: A new assignment for reading was posted on study island. It opened at 8:30am and closes on Sunday April 5th at 8:00pm. It is called “Narrative Writing,” make sure you work through that to continue learning.

Writing: What is your favorite thing about a part of our class? (remember, you need to write this out and send me a picture of your writing, I do not want them on google documents).

Today is catch up day, that means any assignments you were unable to complete this week you are able to complete them today.

All study island assignments for every subject (Reading, Science, and Social Studies) is due Sunday March 29th at 8:00pm, make sure any of those study island assignments that you did not complete, do them today or tomorrow. 

Any writing prompts you did not complete from this week, make sure you do so today or tomorrow, those are due Sunday at 8:00 pm as well. 

For Zearn everyone should be completed with Lesson #8, so you should be on Lesson #9. You do not have to worry about doing Lesson #9 just yet, just make sure you have worked through and completed Lesson #8 today or tomorrow. 

Your ReadWorks article is due Sunday at 8:00pm as well, make sure you have read that and answered the comprehension questions. 

You have a spelling test today, make sure you have a family member give you a spelling test and send me a spelling test selfie 🙂
