Good morning 4th graders! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely, relaxing, and tremendous weekend 🙂
This is week 3 of remote learning, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, remember it is vital to keep on learning and growing our brains. These learning and enriching assignments are to help us not fall behind in fourth grade, this is also why it is important to complete ALL these assignments. Please remember to take breaks and ask questions, I am here to help.
Remember, I have posted a document for one-on-one conferencing each week, this is to help you understand any concepts you are confused about, sign up for a time that works for you and your parents, ask any questions you may have, parents this is for you as well to obtain any clarity on concepts. I also have done 3 video conference calls with everyone as a class, this is very essential in our learning, these video conference calls help us to talk, share ideas, and ask questions everyone may have.
Here are your tasks for today:
Math: Zearn, Module 5, lesson #9 (it is very important to be going on Zearn every day and completing these lessons fully. This is to help you not fall behind)
Reading: You have a new readworks article that was posted on ReadWorks called, “What Causes the Seasons?” Make sure you complete reading and the comprehension questions that go along with it (if you have confusions on the questions you can message me or video conference with me and I can help you!)
Study island: A new assignment for reading was posted on study island. It opened at 8:30am and closes on Sunday April 5th at 8:00pm. It is called “Narrative Writing,” make sure you work through that to continue learning.
Writing: What is your favorite thing about a part of our class? (remember, you need to write this out and send me a picture of your writing, I do not want them on google documents).

Social Studies: There is a new assignment posted on study island called “National & International Economy” it opened at 8:30am and closes Sunday April 5th at 8:00pm
Spelling: Remember to practice your spelling words every day, your spelling test will be on Friday 🙂
