This week we read Stone Soup. We reviewed the characters, the setting, put the events of the story in order, and even took part in a sensory exploration! Students tried new foods and sampled the vegetables from the story. Some students liked the veggies and others did not. Take a peek below at some of our work 🙂

Since it’s starting to get colder, our informational books this week have focused on the Arctic habitat. We have discussed the weather, its’ animals, and how life survives in such cold climates. Student’s have written informational pieces describing the Arctic, retold key details of the text by creating thinking maps, and even created the habitat themselves through a fun craft!
