One of the other life cycles we have focused on this past month was the life cycle of a frog. We created a life cycle craft using different types of candy to sequence the stages 🙂 We used jellybeans for eggs, gummy worms/a jelly bean for the tadpole, and gummy frogs for the froglet and adult frog stages. The kids practiced their fine motor skills, enjoyed a sweet treat, and demonstrated their understanding of the cycle. Take a look below 😀
Keeping with the theme of spring, we will wrap up our informational unit on life cycles and will learn about the life cycle of a plant when we come back from break!
