Lesson Plans for Mini and Little Scholar’s Week Of September 10th

Dear Families,

We have had a great first week and we have enjoyed meeting your families.  This week coming up we will have no school on September 14th for the Little Scholar students due to a half day in the district.

Next week our theme will be all about me and families.  Students will also begin learning about the ABC’s with the letter A and the color orange.

October 12th both classes will have a field trip to the Apple Orchard.  We will be sending a note home next week with more details.  If you have any question or concerns please feel free to ask.

Please send students to school with gym shoes for outdoor time.

We look forward to starting school this week 🙂 We are excited to meet the students and work with the families. Please make sure to have all paper work items turned in by the first day of class.  Also please let us know of any allergies your child may have.  Our class schedule will be a little different this week due to the soft start.  Students will attend class for one hour, Mini Scholars (3 year-old’s) will attend class on Tuesday September 4 from 12:45-1:45, Little Scholars (4 year old’s) will attend class on Wednesday September 4th from 12:55-1:55.  On Thursday September 6th class will start at students regular times.

Dear Families,

I would like to welcome all of you to Haigh Developmental Preschools.  We look forward to meeting all of you at our upcoming parent orientation.  We are sure this will be a spectacular year filled with learning, friendships, and fun.

We will have a parent orientation in the preschool classroom at Haigh Elementary.  If you are coming through the parking lot go to door #9.  If you are coming through the main entrance we are in room #2.

Our first day of school will start on September 4th for Mini Scholars and September 5th for Little Scholars.  The first day of school will be a soft start day.  The students will attend class for one hour so they may adjust to their new learning environment.  Mini Scholars will come to class on September 4th from 12:45-1:45 and Little Scholars will come on September 5th from 12:55-1:55.  Starting on September 6th students will come during their normal class hours.  Mini Scholars regular hours are 12:45-2:45 on Tuesday and Thursdays.  Little Scholars normal hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:55-3:55.

Dear Families,

I can hardly believe that the school year is almost over. We will miss seeing all of your families.  May 25-28 their will be no school due to the Memorial Day Holiday. School will resume for Mini Scholar’s on May 29 and for Little Scholar’s on May 30th.  The last class day for Little Scholar’s will be May 30th and For Mini Scholar’s May 31st.  On June 1st both classes will be having an

end of the year celebration at Ford Lanes Bowling Alley the cost is $ 7.00 per students. If other family members  would like to bowl it is also $7.00 for them as well. Money is due by May 31st.

Little Scholar’s will be having a “Pre-School Graduation” on May 30th at 3:20 parents and family members are invited once this is over students are dismissed from class.

Reminder

We will be going to the Taylor petting Farm on May 9th at 1:00. The cost is $5.00 per person. The class will meet at the farm, once the field trip is over student’s are dismissed for the day. Please bring in the money for the field trip by May 7th 🙂

We are currently taking registration for next years Mini and Little Scholar’s program. Children that are 3 by September 1st can register for the Mini Scholar’s program this takes place on Tuesday and Thursday’s from 12:45-2:45. Students that will be 4 years old by September 1st can register for the Little Scholar’s program this program takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12:55-3:55. If you are interested or know of any families that may be please stop by and visit the preschool room for more information 🙂
