There will be no school from December 23- January 5. School will resume, Monday January 6^th, for half Day Preschool and Little Scholars. Mini Scholars will resume on January 7^th have a great break.

Dear Little Scholars Families,

Students will be having a winter snack on Wednesday December 18^th.  The class will be having a book exchange on Friday December 20^th please bring a wrapped book under five dollars.

Dear Mini Scholar Families,

We will be having a winter snack on Tuesday December 17^th.  Students will be having a book exchange on December 19^th. Please bring a book that is already wrapped and under five dollars.

Half Day Preschool Families-

Please bring your books for the book exchange by Wednesday December 18^th, so each student may receive a book.  The books for the book exchanged must be wrapped and under five dollars. Students will be having a winter snack on Friday December 20th and the sign-up sheet will be available at pick up time.

Dear Mini Scholars, Little Scholars, Half-Day Preschool Families,

As winter approaches many of our students are coming down with sickness.  This is the first time many of the children in our program are in a school setting and are catching germs from one another.  We are asking if students are not feeling that you please keep your children at home.  If your child comes to school sick they will be spreading there sickness through the classroom and passing it on to other classmates.

If you need to report a child’s absents you can send an email or call the classroom phone.  The information is as followed:

We will also be sending home a copy of the Dearborn Public School Sick Policy.  If students are not feeling well at school we will call families to pick them up.  Also if your child has been sick and is still feeling a little bit under the weather.  Please keep them at home and give them the extra time to rest up and feel better.  We will send home any activities that they have missed.  Thank you for working together with the preschool program to help keep the students in a healthy environment.  

The preschool staff will also be doing our best to have students throw a way tissues and wash hands.  We wash the classroom tables with bleach water through the day to prevent germs and also spray the room and toys with Lysol each day.
