Administrators are still at work over the weekend on how to deal with the school closures. Watch for details in the next few days about offering free lunch for students and for plans for online learning!

All Dearborn Public Schools will be closed for students effective immediately, March 13, 2020. This is a result of Governor Whitmer’s order to close all K-12 school buildings, public, private, and boarding, starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5. 

Dearborn Public Schools spring break will take place from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10. Students will return to school on Monday, April 13, 2020.

Conferences scheduled for Friday March 13, 2020 are cancelled. We will rescheduled conferences at a later time. We will be updating the blog with activities that you can do with your child when they are at home.

Thank you for working with us during this situation. We will miss all of our families and students during this time. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and will keep the blog update as we find out more information.

Dear Families,

We will be having open house on Wed April 15, 2020 from 4:30-6:30. This is for parents’ wishes to register for the 2020-2021 school year. During this time you will be able to meet the teaching staff and fill out paper work.

The Little Scholars Program takes place on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 12:55-3:55 this class is for students that are 4 years old.

The Mini Scholars Program takes place on Tues and Thurs. from 12:45-2:45 this class is for students that are 3 years old. There is a one-time registration fee of $80.00 for Dearborn residents. Non- Resident fee is $100.00 dollars. At open house parents will receive a $25.00 coupon for the cost of registration.

The Half Day Preschool program is Monday-Friday 8:00-12:00. This class is a mixed age group of 3 & 4 year Old’s. The students enrolled in this program must attend at least 3 days a week. There is a one-time registration fee of $65.00. At open house parents will receive a $25.00 coupon for the cost of registration.

During registration time we can only except check or money order for the one time registration fee. We do not accept cash or credit.

Dear Half Day Preschool, Little and Mini Scholar’s Families,

We will be having conferences 10-13 of March.  The conferences will take place during regular class time.  The students will not have school during conference times.  School will be in session on March 9^th for Half Day Preschool and Little Scholars. Then the rest of the week will be conferences and class will not be in session.

When coming to conferences you can use the door near the cafeteria. This is the morning drop off door for the Half Day Preschool, and the dismissal door for the Little Scholars and Mini Scholars. One of the teachers will come to the door to let parents in. 

There will also be a sign-up sheet for green snack day.  In the Half Day Preschool class this will take place on Tuesday March 17, 2020. In the Little Scholars class the green snack will take place on Monday March 16, 2020 and in Mini Scholars the green snack will take place on March 17, 2020.
