7th #6 Read the Newsela article on The Conservation of Energy in Nature. The write a 2-3 paragraph on what you learned about the topic. Submit it on goggle classroom.

8th Grade: #6 Read the Newsela article on The Climate Change Debate. Then do a CER by choosing Greta or Naomi’s point of view.

Online Learning Series – Week Two
6th Grade: Assignment #4 Watch 3 M-Star videos on Ebola, Viruses, and spinach leaves. Then do a KWL about each video. See Google classroom for the details.
Assignment #5 Work on Data collection for your up and coming Science Fair project . Nothing to hand it. Just save it for later when we do the middle part of the board.
7th Grade: Assignment #4 M-Star Home assessment activity and questions. Observe/ Infer and answer the provided questions on the 4 houses shown. Details on goggle classroom.
Assignment #5 Start data collection for your Science fair project. Nothing to hand in, but save your results you will need them when we do the middle part of the science fair project
8th Grade: Assignment #4 PHET simulation on the Greenhouse effect/ Questions. Details on goggle classroom.
Assignment #5 Research/ CER on the Goldilocks Theory Details are on goggle classroom.
NOTE: Everyone stay home and stay safe! I’ve been asked what I’ve been doing lately so here’s my answer: Watching movies, Netflix, and Reading the book Until The End Of Time by Scientist Brian Greene.

Students, hope you all are safe and well away from this pathogen virus . Some of you need to start doing/finish your science work and hand it in. The card marking ends next week on the 27th. So you want to do your best these next few weeks. I check my google classroom and email every couple hours if you have a science based question. Mr. Miller

Online Learning Series For the Week of 3-16 to 3-20
Please go to my goggle classroom for all assignments. You should also use goggle classroom to hand in ALL assignments. It makes life easy on all of us! Plus it also helps keep track of your progress in this tough time. This will be updated every Monday and everything is due in Friday.
6th Grade 1) Research on Body systems activity 2) M-Star Videos and KWL activity following the 3 videos. 3) Science Fair Part One : Write your Experiment problem, hypothesis, and abstract.
7th Grade: 1) Research Activity on Natural Cycles 2) Comparing and contrasting of plant and animal life cycles activity. 3) Science Fair Part one: Write your Experiment problem, hypothesis, and abstract.
8th Grade : 1) Research and Global Climate Change 8.7 2) Bozeman video series/ KWL activity and reflection questions. 3) Essay on What I would say to a climate denier in order to convince them climate change is real.
Note: Students, please read, watch, write, and follow all directions for these assignments. Do them as assigned and you won’t get confused.
