** A paper is going home today about a Home Room parent. We are looking for one in our classroom! It would help us out a lot of the events coming up! Please let me know if you are interested 🙂
Language Arts: We will be working on counting syllables this week and finding similarities using a circle map. We are continuing to work on opinion writing this week. Please keep practicing sight words and personal words at home! Â
Math/Science/Social Studies: We will be doing lessons 15-19 this week in math. We are starting to get the hang of number bonds and are moving on to writing addition sentences! Please continue to do the nightly homework that follows each lesson. You can access the Eruerka math website or use the parent tip sheet to help if needed.
We are assessing a lot this week in science and social studies. Please look in folders because tests will be coming home graded!

They can write about what they did in school, family time, friends, practices, ect. Goals include capital letters at the start of the sentence only, punctuation at the end, spaces, and details in the writing. We should be at about 2-3 sentences on 1 topic.
