Language Arts: Please continue to have the children fill out the nightly literacy recording sheets and return them every Monday.  Our class goal is everyone turning in their homework on time.  We completed our second spelling test. Spelling notebooks should be going home nightly. There are a new list of words that are in them to study this week. **Since we do not have school this Friday, we are taking our next spelling test on Thursday this week!! (There are two tests in one week! We got this!) It will be back to normal after this week. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
* NEW NIGHTLY LITERACY SHEETS WERE SENT HOME TODAY FOR FEBRUARY! 🙂
Math/Science/Social Studies  In Math we completed Module 3 lessons through 20.   Continue using the words more than and less than when comparing everything at home.  In Science we did our second experiment and found out that ice melts faster in the sun whether you are outside or inside! We are continuing to work on temperature and sunlight this week.  In Social Studies we reviewed our school environment and used position words like above below, in front, behind above, next to, ect..  Help your child use theses words when describing items to you.
