8th Grade:
Beginning in January, surrounding NWEA testing, we will be starting an in-depth unit on The Outsiders. Students will analyze, annotate, define and create surrounding the themes in this incredible novel! Be prepared to take on the role of a “Soc” or a “Greaser” at the end of the unit with an opportunity to dress up for credit!
7th Grade:
After finishing up “A Christmas Carol” this week, students will move into writing personal narratives and finding a piece of themselves in their writing. Students will work on writing full length narratives about their own lives.
