Please come and meet you children’s teachers on Monday and Wednesday, October 26th and 28th. Studies show that when parents are involved in their children’s education, grades improve. Teachers also want to share good news about your children. Times are from 4:00 to 7:00 both days.
Tutoring is available in all subject areas. Please, if your child received a progress report or is struggling in a class, insist that they stay for tutoring, It is available Tuesday through Friday. Please contact the teacher to sign them up. If they ride the bus to school, it will bring them home at the end [4:50]
We want your children to excel at Stout, please take advantage of this service.
All 8th graders will be taking the PSAT. In prior years they took the EXPLORER, which was part of the ACT. Those of you who have children in high school are aware of this change. Below in their website with information about the test and practice tests
On our blog, you will see a link to the program through the state attorney general. This will be a presentation that we are planning to do in November. As the date approaches there will be more details. Stay tuned!
Looking forward to seeing parents from 6:00 – 7:30. You will be able to meet your children’s teachers, time will be limited, so this should not be viewed as a time for a “parent-teacher conference”. They will also share with you times of availability and how to best contact them. I will likewise be sharing the same information.
