Hello Parents,

McDonald Madrigal Choir and M.A.D.E.  are invited to the Fordson Homecoming Parade Friday Oct, 13 2017. We will march sing, and pass out candy! We will meet at 5:00 at the corner of Neckel and Alber. Please wear your Madrigal Choir Shirt or your McDonald Panther shirt.

You must accompany your child for the entire route!

The route is:

(The parade route will be as follows:  Beginning at the intersection of Neckel and Alber Streets, parade participants will proceed north on Neckel Street to Hemlock Street; west on Hemlock Street to Argyle Street; south on Argyle Street to Alber Street; then turn left and continue east on Alber Street finishing in the Fordson High School Parking Lot at Horger Street.)

See you Friday at 5:00!

Hello my wonderful Students and Parents!

This past Saturday I spent the whole day learning new music in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  I learned some new jazz melodies and rhythms with teachers from the West Michigan area. I also won a Book for our classroom!

BRAVO!!!!

I was so pleased with all of the students who came to audition yesterday afternoon. You all did very well on your written test and play tests. It was a hard decision for me to pick only some of you.

Please know I, Mrs. Duncanson, am very proud of every single one of you for coming and auditioning.

It’s Recorder Karate Time!!!

Parents/Guardians of 4^th Grade Students,

It is that time of year that we are playing recorders!

• The cost is$4.00 and each child will receive his or her own recorder, case, and book. Money is due on Monday, September 25th.
• Your child must bring his or her recorder every day that he or she has music.
• Students can test for recorders by calling my school phone and leaving a message.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! So excited to start recorders and this next musical endeavor with your child!

5th grade earned a special reward for their excellent behavior this year! They earned a total of 164 poofs!!! Way to go 5th Grade! Because of their awesome work we played Color Rhythm Wars in the Gym.
