McDonald Madrigals and MADE sangΒ and played for students at Logan Elementary in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After an amazing performance we had lunch in the basement of the Michigan League Building on the University of Michigan’s campus. Another highlight of our trip was seeing the Chanticleer singers at Hill Auditorium. The 12 singers of Chanticleer sang a variety of music from the 1500’s to the 1940’s! It was so much fun!
I was very proud of our McDonald students as performers and as an audience! Below are pictures from our trip.
Mrs. Duncanson is very close friends with the music teacher at Logan Elementary, Ms. Lower! Thank you Ms. Lower and Logan Elementary for hosting us!
Happy Weekend,
-Mrs. Duncanson
Hey Madrigal and MADE Members,
Remember to hand in your permission slips on Monday.
First we will head over to Logan Elementary and perform for students our own age! (Practice your songs this weekend!)
Then we will head to the University of Michigan for a concert featuring Chanticleer Singers. Please check out the Chanticleer video below, we are so fortunate to see them perform at the University of Michigan!
Peace & Love,
-Mrs. Duncanson
Attention Madrigal Choir Members:
This Wednesday 11/1/17 we will be meeting in the auditorium from 8:55-9:45 to work with a specialist from the University of Michigan. Please bring your listening ears and your BEST audience behavior! I am so excited for this special treat!
Peace & Love,
-Mrs. Duncanson
Students from the McDonald Madrigal Choir and M.A.D.E. marched in the Fordson homecoming parade on Friday. I was so proud of our marching and chanting!
