Awesome job to the McDonald runners!

April Happenings:

• Kindergarten/ 1^st Grade: composing and playing rhythms using ta, ti ti, and rest.
• 2^nd Grades: Norwegian Sunrise, what is a round? Barred Instrument families.
• Ford’s Class: on April 14^th, has been invited to a field trip to WSU to work with music education college students.
• 3^rd/4^th/5^th Grades: Memorize concert repertoire, all captains and co-captains have been assigned.
• 4^th/5^th Grades: continue with recorders and earning belts!
• Madrigal Choir: rehearsals and dress rehearsal on TUESDAY April 19^th from 3:30-4:00. NO REHEARSAL April 20^th.
• MCDONALD SCHOOL SPRING CONCERT: April 22^nd at 4:30 p.m.

Today we had an ALL SCHOOL sing-a-long to celebrate March is reading month and March is music in our schools month!

Madrigal Choir started us off with a silly camp song called “Frog Went A Courtin'”

Today McDonald Madrigal Choir visited the Village of Harmony Manor Nursing home.

We sang, asked questions, and visited with the residents who lived there. All choir members represented McDonald in a musical and respectful way. Thank you all for being such amazing musicians and students.
