Greetings Woodworth leadership students,
How have you all been? This past week has been very interesting! I know that last week was hectic for all of you trying to keep up with all your teachers’ emails, enrolling in classes, making sure your online assignments are submitted on time, learning the ins and outs of online learning, and everything else you had to deal with.
I just wanted to remind you that at the end, when this is all said and done, what we will remember is how others treated us and the kindness we encountered. Therefore, my beautiful students, I want you to remember and reflect on all the discussions we had about kindness and leadership in our leadership class. Remember that kindness can be a simple smile and leadership can be one simple step you take to help another human being.
This, my lovely students, is the perfect time to show kindness and leadership. Show kindness to your parents, siblings, and neighbors. Show kindness to your wonderful teachers who have been working endlessly to make sure you don’t miss out on any learning while we are out of school. Show leadership by engaging your siblings in fun activities so they don’t get bored sitting at home.
Finally, remember that it is in these times that people’s true character is revealed. What will your character reveal?
In Google Classroom, I want you to share one or more acts of kindness and/leadership you have practiced in the last week. Your reflection will be posted on padlet; just follow the link.
Mrs. Mawari
Hi everyone,
Thank you to those of you who have completed part 1 of Young Difference Makers assignment. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this in spite of the circumstances. You are appreciated.
This week you will be looking at the feedback I inserted as comments in your Google Document to improve your work. Once you have done that, you will create a Google Slides presentation. The requirements are in The Google Classroom post I sent out to each of you.
Let me know if you need anything or have any question. You can always email me. Thank you! Stay safe and healthy!
Greeting,
I hope everyone is doing well. I created this new blog to make it less confusing for you. This blog will only have 7th grade leadership instructions and resources for now.
In the future, I might add additional resources.
By now all 7th grade leadership students should have enrolled in my Google Classroom and submitted the first assignment. If you have any questions, please email me or leave comments on Google Classroom.
Thank you all for your patience. I miss seeing your lively selves. Stay safe and healthy!
