I am sorry for the late post, but tomorrow is my husband’s birthday and I have to get ready for it.
As I am looking at your daily quizzes I noticed many “silly” mistakes. Let’s work towards accuracy, so double check your work, make sure it is organized and readable, and then turn it in.
Here is today’s quiz https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/math/quiz-4-applications-of-derivatives/
This problem is just for fun :
Fresh coffee is draining from an conical filter with a diameter(D) of 5 inches and a heigh(H) of 6 inches at a rate of 13 cubic inches per minute. It is draining into a coffee pot that has a diameter(C) of 5 inches. Assuming that no more water is being poured into the filter, find the following when the water level is 4 inches deep in the filter.
(A) At what rate is the water level in the filter falling?
(B) At what rate is the coffee level in the coffee pot rising?
